Being unique is better than being perfect.

Being unique is often seen as a negative thing. We are taught from a young age to quest for perfection, to fit in and to conform. However, I believe that being unique is far better than being perfect. Challenging the status quo takes guts and determination, qualities that are essential for success. Those who are driven by a desire to achieve their goals are the ones who change the world. They persevere in the face of adversity and never give up, even when the odds are against them. Take dyslexia, for example. It is often seen as a learning disability, but dyslexics have made some of the greatest contributions to society. By embrace their uniqueness, they have been able to achieve great things. So next time you’re feeling down about being different, remember that being unique is what makes you special. Embrace your quirks and use them to your advantage. After all, being perfect is boring.
